After years with Roto-Rooter, James “Red” Green opened the family shop in 1964. He trained his son Kevin, who earned his Master Plumber license and grew the business neighbors still call Green’s Rod-O-Matic.
Kevin brought his son Garett into the trade. Garett earned his Master Plumber license, completed a Business Administration degree at Park University (’08), and today leads Rod-O-Matic Plumbing, LLC — third-generation plumbers still serving Kansas City.
